About us

The Sinoville Neigbourhood Watch focus on informing the community on how to discourage, deter and prevent crimes such as burglary, vehicle theft and personal crimes which often occur in or near homes.

Although crime trends have changed since the 1970’s, the basic principle behind Neighbourhood Watches remains the same; to bring communities together with the police to achieve to common goal of preventing crime.

The main function of the Sinoville Neighbourhood Watch is based on creating a local network of neighbours who; help each other, keep an eye on each other and keep an eye on communcal spaces.

By increasing the number of people working together to increase the level of supervision of homes and their environment can be an effective means of combating burglary, theft and vandalism.
